- make the tubes co-axial
- drills two holes for 8-32 screws
- cheat: add sticky notes to center the black box to shift the black box forward

- project the beam using a blank sample (MQ H_2O) on the room ceiling
  --> not much different from the previous alignment

- sample: 1/10x 1um bead (95 uL MQ of H_2O and 10 uL of stock solution of bead)
  could not get any image --> not sure whether the new alignment made it better or worse

- switched the upper and lower filters
  - upper filter : (550LP 7513)
  - lower filter : (HQ575/50 M 54652)
  --> the image looks much better, why?

- some bad news
  - some of the bead stuck on surface
  - the number of beads in the field of view is much less than expected

- install the NIKON translation stage
