Lesson learned yesterday:
- the best dilution factor maybe 1 bead : 4 MQ H_2O

Plan:
- take the black box out and take pictures
- ask Yanyu Liu about Psaltis' machine shop
- find the product number for 
  - lens cleaner (Edmund Scientific)
  - low fluorescence immersion oil
- install the nose piece

(morning)
- the current setup was disassembled
- the objective was stuck -> forced to take it off from the black box
  --> costly mistake
  - contact AGHeinz for repair, cost at least $280 for 2 hour work (minimum), plus shipping, tax, and parts
  - alternatives:
    - buy holder
    - other trick?  ask Bernie

(afternoon)
- obtain screws for the Nikon translation stage
- install the nosepiece without the long tube
  - plan: 1. use TIRF objective for the upper objective
          2. use the old upper objective and TIRF objective for evanescent wave source

(3-6 pm)
- image ssRNA 1D assembly with Jongmin
- sample parameters 
  - transcription time:
  - dilution factor   :
- Jongmin will run ND gel for the 1D assembly

(6-7 pm)
- finishing the installation
