ALGORITHMICA Call For Papers: Special Issue on Algorithms for Computational Biology Editors: Dan Gusfield and Ming Y. Kao Scope of the Issue: Submissions are invited for a special issue of Algorithmica on Algorithms for Computational Biology. This issue will be a follow-on to two earlier special issues on computational molecular biology and on string algorithms. Papers are solicited on all aspects of computational molecular biology or molecular computing. Experimental as well as theoretical work is invited. Current surveys or reviews are welcome. Submission of algorithmic work on topics strongly motivated by computational biology, but not of direct application, is also encouraged. Important Dates: o Submission Deadline: June 1, 1997. o Acceptance Decision: by December 31, 1997. o Final Version Due: January 31, 1998. o Publication Date: tentatively by June 30, 1998.
